Exotic / Alternative Metals

Cla-Val has two on-site foundries that enable us to meet our customers’ requirements for products constructed of exotic and alternative metals. Our foundries have been in operation since 1950, specializing in the production of castings for the pump and valve industries.  Multiple furnace bays allow the foundries to pour over 50 different grades of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, including Nickel Aluminum Bronze and Super Duplex Stainless Steel, utilizing either sand casting or lost wax processes.

An in-house metallurgy laboratory to helps ensure that the quality of the castings produced meet and existing applicable standards supports both foundries. Our Pattern Shop is capable of modifying existing product patterns or the creation of new product patterns.
